Osun Tech Exchange 2.0 Ignites Innovation and Empowers Next-Gen Tech Talent in Osun State
Osogbo, Osun State – December 15, 2025 – The Leisure Spring Hotel was filled with energy and inspiration as TechPro Institute successfully hosted the second edition of the Osun Tech Exchange. With the theme “Beyond Knowledge: Inspiring Tech Innovation Across Osun,” the event gathered over 240 students, tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and government stakeholders for a day of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
The Exchange served as a convergence point for Osun State’s growing tech ecosystem, reinforcing a shared commitment to equipping youths with future-ready digital skills.
A Stage for Student Innovation
A major highlight of the event was the project exhibition, where students from five tertiary institutions presented innovative, real-world solutions. Following a rigorous evaluation process, the top projects were announced:
🥇 First Place: Fountain University — Fire-Eyes
🥈 Second Place: Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) — Alert Hub
🥉 Third Place: Adeleke University — Skulight and Nocos Website
These projects demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical depth, and problem-solving abilities, reflecting the strong potential within Osun State’s academic community.
Insights from Industry Leaders
The event was hosted by Miss Anita Itohan, who expertly guided the program. Attendees gained valuable insights from keynote speakers Prof. Rasheed Adebiyi (Director of NITDA, Fountain University) and Mr. Abayomi Oluyede (Director of Operations, Sub-Saharan Africa at Vesti AI).

Building a Sustainable Tech Community
One of the most impactful outcomes of the event was the launch of the Osun Tech Exchange Community, a WhatsApp group that now connects over 160 students and professionals. The community fosters mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning beyond the event.
“Osun Tech Exchange 2.0 was not just an event; it was a declaration that Osun State is ready to be a key player in the global tech ecosystem,” said M.O. Oladuntoye, General Manager of TechPro Institute Nigeria.
